Rooted in Tuscan tradition and inspired by classic Italian cuisine, Amadio was founded in 1978 by a passionate family collective. The name 'Amadio' is derived from the Italian phrase 'Che ama Dio,' meaning 'one whom God loves.' It was first associated with Lucca, a historic city in Tuscany, Italy.
Amadio’s journey started in Florence, as a small restaurant and a destination for local community and city visitors to not to experience the traditional Italian way of cooking and serving, but also, It's a place where time slows down, allowing us to savor not just the food, but the company, the charms, and the moments that turn into cherished memories with each dish passed, each glass raised, carries with it a sense of belonging and warmth.
